around the hotel
Before pushing open the doors of the Dream Castle and letting the magic take over, you still need to find your way there! From Paris-Charles de Gaulle or Paris-Orly, several options allow you to reach Disneyland® Paris and the Dream Castle Hotel. Direct or connecting airport-Disney shuttles, travel times, getting to the parks, return transfers… A few key pointers are all you need to organize every step without leaving anything to chance. From arriving at the airport to your return journey, discover how to plan every trip to fully enjoy your stay at the castle.
From Charles de Gaulle and Orly, the journey is not exactly the same. The Magical Shuttle provides daily connections between the two main Parisian airports and Disneyland® Paris.
Before booking, look beyond just the travel time. Your landing time, arrival terminal, possible connections, and the time of the last departure can make all the difference. In particular, check that your arrival time matches the shuttle schedules. And what if no time slot works for you? Taxis and private transfers offer more flexibility, especially after a late arrival, with young children, or when luggage is piling up.
Landing at Paris-Charles de Gaulle? Only about 20 miles (30 kilometers) separate you from the Dream Castle. And good news: the Magical Shuttle serves the hotel directly from the airport.
No connections to worry about! To board, head to Platform F if you arrive at Terminal 1. From the other terminals, head to the pick-up points located at Terminals 2E/2F.
Take one last glance at the departure point indicated on your reservation, and you are ready to go. Once on board, leave the hustle and bustle of Charles de Gaulle behind. The enchanted castle is not far now!
Does your flight land outside the CDG-Disney airport shuttle hours? Don’t worry. From Charles de Gaulle, the TGV (high-speed train) also takes you to Marne-la-Vallée Chessy. Once you arrive in Chessy, simply continue your journey with the free HVFS shuttle to the Dream Castle.
From Paris-Orly, the Magical Shuttle takes about 1 hour to reach Disneyland® Paris. Before boarding, locate the departure point for your terminal:
| Arrival terminal | Departure point |
| Orly 1 and 2 | Gate 18 – platform D6 |
| Orly 3 | Gate 22a – platform D6 |
| Orly 4 | Gate 48a – platform 3 |
Your Orly-Disney airport shuttle drops you off at the Chessy Nord bus station. From there, head to platform N to catch the free HVFS shuttle, which takes you to the doors of the Dream Castle in about ten minutes.
Therefore, two shuttles are needed from Orly. Just remember to factor in this connection when organizing your arrival, especially when checking the Magical Shuttle schedules. Once settled in the HVFS, it is only a few more minutes before you spot the castle!
From the Dream Castle to Disney, it is just a stone’s throw away. During your stay, the free HVFS shuttle makes your round trips between the castle and the parks easy.
It runs from 8:00 AM until 2 hours after the parks close, generally every 20 minutes, and every 40 minutes during off-peak hours. Bus 2234 also offers an alternative from 5:00 AM to 2:00 AM, dropping passengers a 5-minute walk from the hotel. This gives you more freedom to plan your day, without necessarily waiting until the evening to return to the Dream Castle.
Need a breather between two attractions? Head back to the castle! Enjoy swimming a few laps at the Dragoon Lagoon, taking a stroll in the French formal gardens, or simply having a quiet moment before catching the shuttle back to the magic of the parks.
Even the most beautiful fairy tales must come to an end… To peacefully enjoy your final moments at the castle, it is best to plan your trip to the airport in advance. As soon as you know your flight times, figure out your transfer option and book your seat ahead of time.
Another useful habit: check the official schedules again a few days before you leave, even if your transfer is already booked. They can change, and it is better to discover any updates before you pack your bags!
On the big day, keep your reservation and terminal information handy. This way, you can enjoy your last moments at the Dream Castle without constantly watching the clock.
Once you know your departure time, you just need to check which route will get you to your airport. For a daytime departure, the Magical Shuttle might be suitable, provided its schedules align with your check-in time.
| Airport | Departure point | Disney-airport shuttle times |
| Charles de Gaulle | Dream Castle | 10:20 AM • 11:20 AM • 12:20 PM • 2:20 PM • 4:50 PM |
| Orly | Marne-la-Vallée Chessy | 6:25 AM • 7:25 AM • 8:15 AM • 9:15 AM • 10:15 AM • 11:15 AM • 12:15 PM • 1:15 PM • 2:15 PM • 3:15 PM • 4:15 PM • 5:25 PM |
Does your flight require a departure outside these time slots? Taxis and private transfers offer more flexibility, as they allow you to choose your pick-up time without relying on a strict schedule.
For a return to Charles de Gaulle, Magical Shuttle recommends taking the shuttle at least 3.5 hours before your airport check-in time. Therefore, this is the time you should look at, not the takeoff time, to determine when to leave the Dream Castle.
To precisely determine when to leave the castle, you must then factor in your shuttle’s departure point:
One last look at your terminal and schedule, and you are ready to leave the castle… Enjoy a few more moments in this timeless setting before hitting the road.
